BESCOM Power Cut in Bengaluru Till February 9:The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has planned power outages from February 4 to February 9, 2026. The city power grid will undergo essential maintenance work and infrastructure development, which will create outages throughout most northern and nearby areas of Bengaluru.
Why the Power Cuts Are Happening?
The power distribution system in the region needs immediate repairs at its high-capacity substations and transmission lines according to official notifications from BESCOM and instructions from the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). The project requires maintenance activities at the 66/11 kV L.R. Bande substation and its associated feeder lines that deliver electricity to northern Bengaluru.
