Bharti Airtel Dividend: Bharti Airtel has come out with a big reward for its shareholders. The company has announced a final dividend of Rs 24 per fully paid-up equity share for FY26. This is being called one of the highest dividend payouts ever given by the telecom giant. Airtel also fixed Friday, July 24, 2026 as the record date for deciding who will get this payout. That means investors need to own the shares before that date if they want to be eligible.
The company had already recommended this dividend in May, and it is still subject to approval from shareholders. The exchange filing text says, “recommendation by the Board of Directors of final dividend of Rs. 24/- per fully paid-up equity share having face value of Rs. 5/- each and Rs. 6/- per partly paid-up equity share having face value of Rs. 5/- each (Rs. 1.25 paid-up) on which call money remains unpaid, for the financial year 2025-26, subject to the approval of the members at the ensuing 31st Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled to be held on Monday, August 03, 2026.”

Who will get the Dividend?
Under the T+1 settlement system, the last trading day to buy Bharti Airtel shares and still qualify for the dividend is Thursday, July 23, 2026. Shares bought on or before that day should be in the demat account by the record date. Only shareholders whose names appear in the records at the close of business on July 24 will be eligible for the Rs 24 per share payout.
This payout is much higher than Airtel’s earlier ones. The company had paid Rs 16 per share in July 2025 and Rs 8 per share a year before that. Airtel has declared 22 dividends since July 2009, and Trendlyne data shows a dividend yield of 0.84%.
Airtel’s Q4 FY26 Performance
Airtel’s latest results also show strong business growth. In Q4 FY26, the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 55,383 crore, which was up 15.7% year on year and 2.6% quarter on quarter in the figures shared in the user’s text.
Airtel’s official results page and market reports also show that revenue from operations rose to Rs 55,383 crore, while EBITDA stood at around Rs 32,038 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 57.8%. Another report on the quarterly results said net profit came in at Rs 7,325 crore for the quarter ended March, compared with Rs 6,631 crore in the previous quarter.
The company’s ARPU, or average revenue per user, slipped a little on a quarterly basis to Rs 257 from Rs 259, but it was still above Rs 245 in the year-ago period. That shows Airtel is still earning more from each user even with the small dip from the last quarter.
