An FIR has been filed against Bhojpuri singer-actor Khesari Lal Yadav for fraud of Rs 22 lakh. Reportedly, the actor purchased land from a person named Mrityunjay Pandey in Ashani Village in the name of his wife.
As per reports, Yadav made the payment through the cheque of Rs 18 lakh and promised to give the balance amount later. The owner, however, has now filed an FIR stating that the cheque provided by the actor has bounced twice in three months and the payment has not been cleared yet.
While speaking to a website the actor stated that there is enough amount of money in his account and the cheque shouldn’t be bounced. In his defense, the actor also added that he had stopped the payment as fees for land alteration were yet to be paid by the owner.
