Bigg Boss 13 fame, Himashi Khurana has been tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday. The Punjabi actor gave the information on her Instagram handle.
“I want 2 inform u all dat i hv been tested positive 4 covid-19 even after taking proper precautions. As you all know that i was the part of the protest day before yesterday & d area was crowded so i thought to get d test done before i go for my shoot today evening. I jst wanted to inform people who came in contact to get ur test done & please take proper precautions in d protest. Its my request to all the people protesting to not forget that we are going through pandemic so please take proper care”, the actor wrote.
Himanshi Khurana had joined the protest in Punjab with farmers and has addressed the media in the favour of Indian kissan. Three farm bills were passed by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha during the Parliament Monsoon session and are waiting for the presidential approval. In the wake of the same, various farmer groups have called for a nationwide shutdown. The major impact of the same is seen in North India and many Punjabi celebrities have come out in support of farmers. Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh also stood in support of farmers.
