In a tragic incident, one passenger died while 13 others suffered severe burns after the bud they were traveling in, hit the divider on the road and caught fire. The incident happened in Bihar’s Purnia district early Monday morning, at about 3:15 am.
The bus, carrying around 45 passengers, was going to Siliguri from Muzaffarpur via Purnia.
The Purnia district administration has confirmed the death of only one passenger. Meanwhile, all the injured have been admitted at Purnia Hospital for treatment with above 50 to 60% burn injuries.
