Bihar: BJP MP threatens to kill his party MLC

Siwan: Bhartiya Janata Party leader and Member of Legislative Council from Siwan district Tunna Ji Pandey has alleged his party Member of Parliament Omprakash Yadav of giving him life threat.

Tunna Ji Pandey on Tuesday alleged that he received the life threat when he was returning to Bihar from Delhi on Monday.

He further stated that he received a call from an unknown person who threatened him of dire consequences if he didn’t stop opposing Yadav. He has filed a complaint with Siwan police.

Tunna Pandey has given a written complaint to Superintendent of Police and after receiving the complaint police is investigating the matter.

Siwan SP Naveen Chandra Jha said that the police department is seriously looking into the matter. Anyone found guilty will be prosecuted.

Tunna said that three days ago he was doing a Facebook live where he questioned the diversion of funds granted for the development of Siwan by the MP. He said that I asked him that people of Siwan are asking for the accountability and you should answer the people, but his henchmen are threatening me.

While Omprakash Yadav has called the allegations baseless and said it is politically motivated. He is BJP MP from Siwan constituency.

Both leaders have been involved in blame game against each other on social media and this development is further in continuation of accusations.

However, the duo faceoff has created a tough situation for the BJP Bihar unit and both these leaders are making an outcry.
