Bihar board 10th result 2020: As the students who took the exam have been eagerly waiting for their Bihar board 10th result, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has resumed the evaluation process of the remaining matric answer sheets from Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

Chairman of BSEB Anand Kishor on Monday said, “We are trying to find out possible ways for carrying out evaluation work. Since we have just 25 % of answersheets unchecked, less number of evaluators would be required for assessment. A week will be enough to settle the remaining work.”

Earlier, the board had planned to announce the Bihar board 10th result on March 30 but could not make it to the target to release the result due to contractual teachers’ strike and COVID-19 outbreak.

Officials said that they were just a few steps behind completing the result process. About 75 per cent evaluation of answer copies and marks feeding had been done simultaneously till mid-March.

Before lockdown, more than 20,000 teachers were assigned for the assessment process of matriculation answer sheets across 100 evaluation centres in the state.

BSEB had already announced the Bihar board 12th exam or intermediate examination result on March 24 this year.

More than 15 lakh students appeared in Bihar board 10th exam conducted across 1368 examination centres, which was held from February 17 to February 24.

The previous year, matric results were announced on April 6 with overall pass percentage of 80.73%.
