After the lockdown has been extended, the Bihar Board class 10th evaluation process is being again postponed. Earlier, the Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) was likely to start the evaluation of answer sheets for class 10 from April 14, however, it is yet again postponed.

According to the latest information by the officials, the evaluation would resume after May 3. It is noted by the candidates that this time, the BSEB has not issued any revised or new dates to start the evaluation process.

Instructions have been sent to all districts and exam assessment centers across the state to ensure that officials and staff are practicing social distancing and that the assessment process will not resume at any exam center.

BSEB had become the first board to announce the result amid lockdown of class 12 result last month.

The board has deployed new software which processes result faster and once the evaluation is completed the result will be out within weeks, however, with the delay in the evaluation process, there is no clarity on the class 10 result date yet.

Several boards have adopted work from home evaluation mode. Moreover, Gujarat Board has declared to take responsibility of teachers for ensuring safe transport and they continued to go ahead with the evaluation process. So far, no such provision has been taken by the Bihar Board.

Earlier, the Bihar government announced to promote classes 1 to 9 and 11 students.

Only class 10 result is pending. Around 15.29 lakh students appeared for the Bihar Board class 10 exams. The exams were held on February 24 and students have now been eagerly awaiting results.
