A total of 6,14,710 candidates appeared in the Science stream, including 3,67,798 boys and 2,46,912 girls. Girls have once again outperformed boys in the Bihar Board Class 12 examination. Out of 6,70,971 girls who appeared, 5,78,611 passed, registering a pass percentage of 86.23%. In comparison, 6,33,229 boys appeared, of whom 5,32,486 cleared the exam, recording an 84.09% pass rate. The trend highlights stronger academic performance by female students across streams this year.
