Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi slams Congress for not taking interest in Bansagar project which could have completed 20 years ago. Sushil Kumar wrote a Twitter post, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the completion of the Bansagar project.

The tweet posted by Sushil Kumar read, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bansagar project, built at a cost of 3148.91 crores in Mirzapur in eastern Uttar Pradesh, which will provide irrigation facility to farmers in dozens of districts including Rohtas, Buxar Bhojpur, Bhabua, Gaya and Patna in Bihar. The project was laid on May 14, 1978 by the then Prime Minister Morarji Desai. If Congress governments had taken interest, farmers could get the benefit 20 years ago.”


Elated Deputy Chief said that after 63 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who came from poor and backward families, gifted the Bansagar project to millions of farmers of three states on July 15. Dynastic parties such as Congress-RJD can never welfare the public.

Further slamming the Congress party in Bihar, Modi said that from the Shiromani Akali Dal of North India to actor-turned politician Rajinikanth in Tmil Nadu, has supported the idea of ​​‘One country-One election’ of the Prime Minister, but Opposition party in Bihar is reluctant.
