Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav’s petition is turned down by the Patna High Court on Friday in favor of the government order which asked him to vacate his bungalow.

Tejashwi Yadav residence in Patna is allotted to Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi and CM Nitish Kumar’s government order for vacating the bungalow was challenged by the former Deputy Cm in the High Court.

The leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav has decided to appeal against the single bench judgment of the HC and made an appeal before the double bench.

Interacting with media about the recent order, the RJD leader points towards Sushil Modi’s desperation of shifting in this bungalow.

Tejashwi said, “Why is he so desperate to get me ousted from the bungalow? Is he standing on the road? Is he facing problems in performing his duties from the current residence which he is living?”

Yadav was allotted this bungalow next to CM’s house in 2015 after he was made Deputy CM in Grand Alliance government, but later Nitish Kumar broke away with the alliance and joined NDA and formed the government once again and Sushil Modi is given the Deputy portfolio.

Sushil Modi after being appointed as Nitish’s deputy is residing in 1, Polo Road, which is also in the vicinity of a 1km from the CM’s residence.
