The widespread of coronavirus has severely affected the mental health and well being of people. Amid the nationwide lockdown, there have been several cases of depression leading to suicide. In a suicide incident in Danapur, Patna, a young man killed himself by putting a noose hanging in his neck on Monday. The man is said to have committed suicide because of his wife’s absence.
28-year-old Sakaldev Rai was very upset because her wife did not return home. According to Prabhat Khabar, the elder brother of the deceased told the police that Sakaldev had been going to bring his wife in-laws for the last three days. However, her wife was not ready to return home.
In another bizarre incident reported by Prabhat Khabar, a 35-year-old Poonam Devi, travelling in a bus was taken off and taken to the police station. The woman started creating a ruckus over the forced unloading of the bus.
The police told that the woman had been unloaded from the bus under the direction of the preferred police officer. When asked about the case, the city SP Jitendra Kumar told that the woman was leaving her husband’s house and fleeing from Patna.
She has been stopped after her husband complained to the police. On Monday evening, Poonam’s husband who works in a pharmaceutical company reached Dhanarua police station. Poonam was furious and was not getting ready to go with her husband.
However, Dhanarua Thanadat Raju Kumar said that the two were taken to the Masaurhi police, where the case will be investigated further.
According to the husband Ranjit Kumar, His wife fell in love with someone else on Facebook in December last year. She has also fled with her boyfriend twice.
Poonam, on Monday, picked up her jewellery and was fleeing away with her lover in Patna. It was reported by the children from home. Later, Ranjit found out that her wife is heading to Gaya on a bus.
