On Friday, as the BJP led NDA government completes three years in power, BJP party president Amit Shah on Friday launched a sarcastic attack on the 2004-14 UPA government.

“In 2014, BJP replaced a regime suffering from policy paralysis and gave the people a decisive and transparent government,” Shah said at a press conference.
As he pointed out the difference between the 10-year UPA rule and the current government, he said that the former have a series of scam tagged to their governance. While even the rivals of PM Modi have not been able to level a single charge of corruption against it. Shah said the populace had welcomed the NDA’s “clean and blemish-less governance.”
He later threw light upon PM Modi’s achievements touching upon its greatest hits like OROP, GST, OBC Commission, relief to farmers and an upward swing in the country’s economy. He added that what couldn’t be achieved in 70 years of independence had been attained in these three years by the Modi government.
“From the Mars Mission to satellites, India has displayed its potential to lead the field in aerospace,” the BJP president said.
On the political front, Shah said that BJP will continue to grow and soon enjoy a pan-India presence and its performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls would surpass its victory in the 2014 general election.

Commenting on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Shah said the government was confident of “controlling the situation” with the help of security forces.
“I want to assure people that at this time, we are watching the situation in Jammu and Kashmir very closely. We will find a solution soon,” he said.
