UP board results declared, pass percentage falls by 12.13%

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board has declared the results for Class 10th and 12th on Friday. Students can check their results on the official website of the board upresults.nic.in. Earlier, the UP board results were about to be declared by the end of May but later the date got extended. However, 81.6% of students have cleared the 10th class examination while 12th class examination has been passed by 82.5% of students.

Tejaswani, a resident of Fatehpur, topped in 10th standard with a score of 95.83% while the second position has been secured by Navneet Divakar.

Last year, the overall pass percentage stood at 93.73%. However, it declined by 12.13% this year.

This year 54,66,531 number of students appeared for the examination. Around 60,61,034 students were registered for 10th and 12thexaminations this time. Out of which 5,94,503 number of students left the process in between and the remaining students opted for the exams.
