The 15-member squad for the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2023 has been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Rohit Sharma will captain the team, while Hardik Pandya will serve as vice-captain, as per custom.
The line-up is the same as in the movie. Rahul is expected to lead the Karnataka batting lineup, with Ishan Kishan functioning as his backup.
Jasprit Bumrah is in command of fast bowling, accompanied by Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj. Hardik Pandya will partner with Shardul Thakur among the all-rounders, while Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav will handle the spin department.
