BPSC 65th Mains 2020: The last date to apply for the 65th Combined Main Competition Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has been extended from 28 May to 24 June 2020. At the same time, the examination fee can be deposited until June 10.
Now in the Commission’s office, the last date for receipt of hard copy of the application and all certificates by speed post / registered post has been made June 30. The total vacancy in BPSC 65th examination is 423.
The link will be available to pay the examination fee online after 11 AM on the next date of the registration date.
BPSC Main Exam Pattern:
The BPSC 65th Main Examination will include three subjects, with two compulsory subjects. General Hindi (100 marks), General Studies (two papers) each will be of 300 marks. Apart from this, it is mandatory to keep one of the subjects as optional subjects. Each optional subject will have a paper of 300 marks. The duration of the examination for each subject will be of three hours.
The qualifying marks of General Hindi is 30 marks which is compulsory. It will not be counted in the merit list. In other subjects, it is mandatory to get 40 percent marks for general category, 36.5 percent for backward classes, 34 percent for extremely backward classes, 32 percent marks for SC, ST, women, differently-abled. Bringing less marks than this will leave the candidates out of the competition.
Merit list will be made on the basis of marks in the main examination and successful candidates will be called for interview which will be of 120 marks.
- General category – Rs 750
- SC and ST category of Bihar – 200 rupees
- All women of Bihar state – Rs 200
- Divyang class – 200 rupees

The BPSC PT exam was held on October 15, 2019. PT’s result was declared on 6 March. 6517 candidates were selected for the main exam. After this, on 21 April, BPSC passed 5 more candidates. That is, 6522 candidates have been selected for the main examination.
