BPSC Releases 31st Bihar Judicial Services Competitive Exam Notification 2020: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for the 31st Bihar Judicial Services Competitive Examination (BJSCE) on March 9, 2020. As per the official notification, a total of 221 vacant positions of Civil Judge Posts are going to be filled via this recruitment drive.

Eligible and interested candidates have to visit the official website of the BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in to check the detailed BPSC Judicial Services Competitive Exam 2020 notification released.

BPSC Judicial Services Competitive Exam 2020 Notification:

The application process for 31st BJSCE will begin from March 12 and will conclude on April 13, 2020. Candidates should be Law Graduate from a recognized university that is approved by Bar Council of India. Candidates in the age group from 22 to 35 years can apply for the Judicial Services Exam.

The selection process will consist of BPSC Judicial Services Prelims Exam and BPSC Judicial Services Main 2020 exams.

The BPSC Judicial Services Prelims Exam will include two papers, one on general awareness for 100 marks and the second paper on law and will be of 150 marks. The exam will include questions from subjects ranging from General Knowledge, Elementary General Science, Law of Evidence and Procedure, Hindu Law and Muhammadan Law, Law of Transfer of Properties and Trusts & Specific Relief, Law of Contracts and Torts, and Commercial Law.

Selected candidates in the first phase of preliminary exam will have to appear for the Main Exam.

The Main exam will have five compulsory subjects and five optional subjects out of which candidates have to choose any three.

  • The five compulsory subjects include General Knowledge (150 marks), Elementary General Science (100 marks), General Hindi (100 marks), General English (100 marks), and Law of Evidence and Procedure (150 marks).
  • The five optional subjects are Constitutional and Administrative Law of India, Hindu Law and Muhammadan Law, Law of Transfer & Properties and Law of Trusts & Specific Relief, Law of Contracts and Trots, and Commercial Law.
