BRICS Summit 2026: Train travellers moving through Delhi from September 11 to September 13 should plan for delays and route changes. Northern Railway says it is making major adjustments to how trains will run in the Delhi Division.

For the three days, about 120 train services are expected to be hit. Some trains will not run at all. Others may take different routes. There may also be trips that start and end earlier than usual. In addition, timings may shift, and train movements could be controlled more strictly. Several higher profile services are named, including Rajdhani, Tejas Rajdhani, and Vande Bharat Express.

These steps are linked to the BRICS Leaders’ Summit in New Delhi on September 12 and 13. Security will be tighter for the event. Also, movement rules around the city will be stricter.
