BSE Odisha 10th Exam 2020 Ends: The final paper for the class 10th was conducted on Monday, March 2, 2020, by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. The exam started on February 22, 2020, and continued for over a fortnight for regular students.
As per the reports, about 887 students have been booked across the state for malpractices and cheating during the Matriculation Exam of the Odisha Board.
Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, the BSE Odisha Examination Controller said that a record number of 150 students were caught cheating on the first day of the examination this year.

The regular rumours about leaking of Question Paper for the Matric Exam have become the most prominent factors. There was a rumour about leaking question papers on the 2nd day of the exam. But, the board proved that the question paper leaked was not the official one being used in the exams.
Strict vigil, stringent measures bring down cheating cases:
The board had adopted several strict measures. BSE Odisha Examination Controller Mr. Mohanty attributed the low number of cheating cases being reported during the exam to “stringent measures in place, resorting to unfair means during the examinations was tackled with strong hands”.
To counter the challenge of impersonators, BSE Odisha had employed the enforcement squad which apprehended such cases promptly during the initial papers.
Evaluation process begins:
The BSE Odisha will start the evaluation work for the BSE Odisha 10th Exam 2020 answer booklets.
This year, over 6 lakh students have appeared for the BSE Odisha Exam. As part of the process, the BSE has set up over 60 evaluation centres across the state.
Around 2000 senior teachers have been roped in by the board to complete evaluation work on time, without any errors. According to the tentative timeline, the BSE Odisha Matric Result 2020 will be declared by April End.
