BSE Odisha 10th Result 2020 updates: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) which conducts the Class 10 examinations of the schools in the state will be going to reveal the date of result declaration on July 27. After the result is declared, the students can check the results through the websites- bseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in.

A total of 5.34 lakh students who had appeared in the BSE Odisha 10th exam this year will get their result next week.

As per reports, Board secretary Ramashis Hazra said, “The board will announce the result declaration date for annual High School Certificate (HSC) exam on Monday, July 27. The result will be announced by month-end.”

Even though the board secondary exam was not impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, but the evaluation process was halted due to the lockdown following which the result announcement got delayed. The board completed the evaluation work in June.

Steps to check BSE Odisha 10th HSC result 2020:

  • To get results, the candidates need to click on the websites- bseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in.
  • Click on the ‘download result link’.
  • Enter roll number.
  • The results will appear on the screen.
  • Download it, and take a print out for further reference.

Meanwhile, the intermediate or class 12th exam results will be released in August, as per the official. The board cancelled the pending papers which were slated to start from March 23 to 28.

For the assessment of remaining exams- economics, statistics, geography and biology, the board has planned to evaluate these papers through a special assessment scheme.

According to the scheme, the students who have taken more than three papers, the average of the marks in theory secured in the best three exams will be awarded for the subjects for which exams could not be held. Students who appeared in solely three exams, the average marks in the two best performing papers will be calculated.

The overall pass percentage of students recorded last year in HSC was 70.78 per cent, with 3.97 lakh (3,97,125) students have passed the examination.
