NEW DELHI: As the uncertain situation continues of coronavirus outbreak, the Border Security Force (BSF) has announced the final result for the selection to the various trades in the Constable (Tradesmen) examination in BSF – 2019 – RA FTR HQ BSF North Bengal. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result by visiting the official website of BSF, bsf.nic.in/en/result.html.
Candidates have been selected in merit and announced provisionally successful for appointment to various trades in the post of Constable (Tradesmen). For the selected candidates, the appointment will be subject to further satisfactory verification of Caste Certificate and Character/Antecedents from concerned authorities.
The merit in all stages of the exam has been prepared by the BSF on the basis of marks secured by them in the written examination. Those who have scored higher marks in the written exam have been placed higher in the merit list.
In case, more than one candidates have scored equal marks, the tie cases have been resolved by applying the following methods one after another till the tie has been resolved: –
a) Candidates with older age placed higher in the merit list.
b) But if the candidates with the same date of birth have obtained equal marks, then, the candidates whose name comes first in the alphabetic order (English) kept higher in the merit.
Moreover, the Constable (GD) exam for recruitment to BSF and CISF in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh divisions has been deferred amid the Covid-19 outbreak lockdown. The exam was slated to be conducted on April 12, 2020.
