BYD Sealion 7 Premium Variant Price 2026: BYD India has increased the price of its electric SUV, the Sealion 7, in the Indian market. The new prices started from January 1, 2026. The company announced this change earlier in December 2025. Because of this update, the Sealion 7 Premium variant now costs Rs 50,000 more than before. Customers who booked the car on or before December 31, 2025, will still get the old price, so they will not be affected by the hike.

The BYD Sealion 7 is sold in India in two versions. These are called Premium and Performance. Only the Premium version has become more expensive. The Performance version price has stayed the same. Prior to this the Premium model was priced at Rs 48.90 lakh ex-showroom. It costs Rs 49.40 lakh ex-showroom. The Performance model continues to sell at Rs 54.90 lakh ex-showroom.
Performance Details
Both versions of the BYD Sealion 7 use the same large 82.56 kWh battery pack. The Premium variant focuses more on comfort and longer range. It offers a claimed driving range of up to 567 km on a full charge. The Performance variant is more powerful and sportier. It delivers a claimed range of up to 542 km.
The Performance version produces 522 hp of power and 690 Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds. The Premium version makes 308 hp and 380 Nm of torque. It reaches 100 kmph in about 6.7 seconds. Both versions use BYD’s Blade Battery technology and Cell-to-Body design. They have also received a 5-Star Euro NCAP safety rating.

Features
The BYD Sealion 7 comes loaded with many modern features. It has a large 15.6-inch touchscreen that can rotate. The SUV also offers Nappa leather seats, a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade, ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system. For comfort, the front seats are powered, ventilated, and heated.
Safety
It includes 11 airbags, a 360-degree camera, driver fatigue monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS features. Another useful feature is Vehicle to Load technology. This allows the SUV to supply power to external devices, making it act like a moving power source.
Since its launch in India, the BYD Sealion 7 has sold around 2,300 units across the country.
