A 59-year-old cartoonist Madansinh Paarmar has hung himself at his house at Darbargadh in Bhuj. The incident took place between 2 PM and 4 PM on Monday.
It is reportedly said that no suicide note has been recovered from the spot.
According to sources, Madansinh Parmar lived alone at Vahla Wadi Sheri in Bhuj. He was not married and was known to be a good artist.
Parmarth has also worked as a drawing teacher with Kendriya Vidyalaya in Nakhatrana and had retired as a drawing teacher with the Orchard high school in Bhuj.
People of Kutch remember him as a wonderful cartoonist, known for his creative satires.
According to Mirror, Bhuj A division police said that the suicide took place around 2.20 PM and the reason for death is not known yet as no suicide note was left behind.
He further added that we have registered a complaint of accidental death.
