CAT 2023: Pulkit Daga, who is 24 years old, is a food blogger who has almost seven lakh followers on both Instagram and YouTube. When the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow released the CAT 202 results on December 21, Daga had one of the best scores in the country, scoring in the 99.14 percentile.
Daga always wanted to get an MBA. He studied business in Class 12 and then got a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from Delhi University. It’s hard for him to explain how his love of food turned into food blogging and content creation. No doubt that Covid-19 and the lockdown that followed it played a part.

“I often went outside and took lots of photos for my Snapchat stories.” After that, I became really interested in it and began posting them, mostly on Instagram. A lot of people liked it, and it did really well. At first, I used Instagram to post about bars and restaurants. But during the lockdown, I couldn’t go out, so I started doing cooking with my mom. We made caramel custard pudding as a snack. At the time, this was a big deal because I only had about 10,000 friends. It got almost 3 lakh views.
“That video made a big difference for me,” he said. IIM Lucknow released the CAT 2023 score on November 21, 2018. On November 26, about 2.88 lakh people took the test to get into top business schools. Up to 14 of them, all guys, got scores in the top 1%.
When Daga started using the name “Worthytale” on Instagram, she started to post more often. In the end, in May 2020, he made a YouTube page. It became a hit right away. One lakh people signed up for his service in the first year. His path to getting an MBA, on the other hand, was less smooth. In 2019, he first took the CAT test, but it didn’t help him get into the school he wanted.
After that, he chose to get a job in the financial services business in November 2020. He was also working on his growing tools for making material at the same time. At first, he worked from home in Delhi, but later he moved to Mumbai.
