Mondal, the party’s Birbhum district president, was arrested by the CBI last week in a cattle smuggling case.
Sukanya along with five others, said to be close to the TMC leader, were on Wednesday asked by Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay to be personally present before his court, which they complied with.
Mondal was arrested after almost an hour-long interrogation by a CBI team that arrived at the Birbhum district president’s house early on Thursday, he said.

Mondal, who had skipped meeting CBI officers on Monday citing health reasons and went to a government hospital, will be asked him to appear before the central agency’s sleuths on Wednesday, he said.
Mondal, the party’s Birbhum district president, is understood to have sent an email expressing his inability to appear before the central probe agency, due to a medical check-up.
