CBSE Board Exam Result 2020: The results of CBSE class 10th and 12th board exams are likely to be released by August 15, Union minister for human resource development Ramesh Pokhriyal told TOI on Friday, June 11, 2020.
The postponing of the results is due to the disruptions to the exams and evaluation schedules in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak. Added to this is the postponement of some Class X exams due to the Delhi riots in February. CBSE will begin conducting all pending exams from July 1.
“The [remaining] exams will go on, while evaluation work too will continue simultaneously. We will try our best to ensure that the CBSE board exam results are declared by August 15,” Pokhriyal said.
“We had taken special permission from the home ministry to deliver 1.5 crore answer sheets to the doorsteps of evaluators from 3,000 centres.”
