The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE class 10th 2020 examination results on July 15. CBSE 10th result 2020 is available on various platforms like – Board’s official websites, SMS, IVR, DigiLocker, UMANG app.

The official website of cbse.nic.in is not responding. However, there are alternative ways to check the results.

Alternative ways to check CBSE class 10th results 2020:

Unofficial websites — examresults.net, indiaresults.com, schools9.com, results.shiksha

IVRS: For Delhi students, the result can be checked by dialing 24300699. Students living outside Delhi are required to put the code 011 before dialing the number.

SMS: Type ‘CBSE10 (roll number) (admit card ID)’ and send it to 7738299899.

Earlier, CBSE had released an alternative assessment scheme for grading CBSE class 10, and 12 students.

According to the notification, the alternative assessments scheme will operate in the following way:

  1. If a student appeared for more than three subjects before the examinations were cancelled, an average score will be calculated taking into account the three subjects in which the student scored highest.
  2. For those students who appeared in lesser examinations, the average will be based on the two highest-scoring subjects and allotted to the remaining papers.
  3. For those who appeared in less than three exams, results will be calculated based on the marks in the appeared subjects along with their performance in internal/ practical/ project assessment.

Over lakhs of students who appeared in the matriculation exams were patiently waiting for the results to be released after the CBSE board decided to cancel the pending exams and provide the results according to the new marking scheme.

A total of 91.46% students have passed CBSE class 10th exam this year. Last year, the pass percent was 91.10.

There is an increase of 0.36 % in the pass percentage of CBSE class 10th as compared to last year. This year the pass percent is 91.46 while in 2019 it was 91.10.

This year also, girls have outscored boys in CBSE 10th result. The pass percent of girls is 93.31. Pass percentage of boys is 90.14
