In line with recent trends, CBSE has prioritized digital access, allowing students to retrieve their results instantly via DigiLocker, where official documents are securely stored, and the UMANG app, which integrates multiple government services.
This year, a total of 25,08,319 students appeared for the Class 10 examination, including 14,08,546 boys and 10,99,773 girls, across 83 subjects and 8,075 centres. The exams were conducted from February 17 to March 11 in a single shift starting at 10:30 am.
Heavy Traffic Expected, CBSE Activates Multiple Platforms

The official websites will experience slowdowns because lakhs of students will log in at the same time. To address this, CBSE has enabled alternative access points:
- DigiLocker (for digital marksheets and certificates)
- UMANG app (for quick result viewing)
- Official CBSE result portals
When one server becomes unresponsive, students need to remain patient while they wait for its return or they should use different systems.

Pass Percentage Likely to Remain Stable
The board has not yet published its complete statistical analysis yet initial results show that this year’s pass rate matches the historical data from previous years. The strong performance of Trivandrum and Bengaluru will continue into the future.
The pass percentage among girls rose from 94.75% in 2024 to 95.00% in 2025. In contrast, boys saw a slight dip, with their results moving from 92.71% in 2024 to 92.63% in 2025. Transgender candidates showed notable progress, with their pass rate increasing significantly from 91.30% to 95.00% over the same period. Overall, girls outperformed boys by 2.37 percentage points in 2025.
The academic trend in CBSE results shows that girls will achieve better results than boys just like they did in previous years.
