CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: The CBSE Class 12 result for 2026 is expected very soon. The board has said the result should come in the third week of May, and not later than that plan. Students will be able to check their marks on the official CBSE result websites, and also through DigiLocker and the UMANG app.
This year’s Class 12 exams ran from February 17 to April 10, 2026. Around 18.5 lakh students appeared, so the result day will be a big one. The board usually puts the marks online first, so students can log in and see their scorecard without waiting for a paper copy.

How Students will get their Scores
CBSE will publish the result on its official result portals. Students can also use DigiLocker and UMANG, which are both linked with the board for result access. In the DigiLocker route, students usually get login details through the mobile number registered with CBSE.
The board has also kept the post-result process in place. That means students can later ask for a photocopy of the answer sheet, then ask for mark verification, and after that apply for rechecking or re-evaluation if needed. CBSE changed the order last year so that students first see the answer book copy before asking for further review.
Pass Marks and Evaluation Status
To pass Class 12, a student must get at least 33% marks. For subjects that have practical work, CBSE says students must get 33% separately in theory and practical as well. If a student fails in one or two subjects, they may fall into the compartment category. If more than two subjects are not cleared, the student will have to appear again next year.
