TN 12th Result 2026 Update:The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results for Class 12 will be announced on May 8, 2026 after the evaluation of answer sheets is completed. The timeline corresponds with recent media updates and established result patterns which exist in the state.
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu will announce the results for students who took the TN +2 examinations within the next few days.

The result process now begins after the completion of Class 12 answer sheet evaluation according to the latest news.
“The answer sheet evaluation is over, and the Class 12 board exam results will be declared soon after the election results,” the official told PTI.
The official results will be accessible to students online through the following official portals after their announcement:

- tnresults.nic.in
The expected May 8 release date is consistent with previous years. The TN HSC Result 2025 was also announced on May 8 at 9 AM.
The established pattern predicts that the Tamil Nadu board will maintain its existing timetable for 2026.

2. Click on the “HSC Examination Results 2026” link on the homepage
3. Enter your hall ticket number and date of birth
4. Click on the “View Result” button
5. Your TN Class 12 result will appear on the screen
6. Download and take a printout of the online marksheet for future use
Around 7.92 lakh students appeared for the exam, and nearly 7.53 lakh students passed. Girls performed better with a pass percentage of 96.7 percent, while boys recorded 93.16 percent.
