The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE class 12th board exam results on its official website today. The board has announced the results based on an alternate assessment scheme after the pending exams were cancelled given the spike in coronavirus cases in the country. The results can be checked online on cbseresults.nic.in.
However, a few minutes after the announcement of the result the official websites crashed due to the heavy traffic. Students may not be able to check their results online due to technical glitch. The online link would be activated by 5 pm. Students may call their schools and check the results.

This year CBSE has decided to replace the term “FAIL” by the term “Essential Repeat”. Hence, in the result declared no “FAIL” term will be mentioned in the documents issued to the candidates and the result declared on the website.
