Muzaffarpur: Misinformation is being spread on social media through a Twitter account in the name of the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE. Parents are complaining to the CBSE officials about disseminating the misinformation.

Taking cognizance of this, the board said that the official Twitter account is in the name of CBSE India 29.

There are about a hundred accounts on Twitter and Facebook namely, CBSE News, CBSE Lecture, CBSE Portal, CBSE Original that are being operated fraudulently.

People should not trust information shared from any account other than the official site.

Many fake accounts have been created by putting some information related to B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University on Facebook. The newspapers printed on them are copied right. Also, these thugs ask the students to contact them for any problem. When the students contact them on the given numbers, they demand money from them.

Many of the students gave money too. In such a situation, students need to be more vigilant while checking information about the exam, classes. Especially now as the prevailing situation is uncertain and students should need to be more alert.
