After the terrorising stalking case of DJ Varnika in Chandigarh, another such case has emerged in the city of Mumbai. Designer Aditi Nagpaul, in her Facebook post, alleged that she was stalked by a man up to her house at 2 am on 6 August. He also rang her doorbell, she claimed.

According to Nagpaul, the incident occurred on the Veera Desai Raod while she was on her way back home in her car with her children.

Nitesh Kumar Sharma, 36, according to Mumbai police, saw the car of Aditi and started following her. Nitesh stalked Aditi to her house, Hence, it was proved by police after seeing the CCTV footage of the building.
“The CCTV footage from the building shows the man standing outside”, Mumbai police claimed.

“He didn’t have any fear in his eyes, a fear of being captured by security cameras, interrogation by security guards or threats of Police! He just hung around coolly in his car long after the incident very comfortable in getting his pictures clicked! ()sic” Nagpaul wrote in a Facebook post on 7 August.

Nagpaul immediately contacted to the nearest police station, FIR was filed under section 354 (D) (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code. The police sent out a team and traced the man on 7 August night. But unlike the Chandigarh case, the police swung into action, reported Hindustan Times.
