Chandrayaan-3 Landing Spot: Prime Minister Narendra Modi proclaimed August 23 as “National Space Day” and named the Chandrayaan-3 Landing Spot as “Shiv Shakti.”

After his arrival in Bengaluru, Prime Minister Modi praised the ISRO scientists for the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission. He announced that the moon landing site for Chandrayaan-3 will be christened “Shiv Shakti.”

In addition, the location where Chandrayaan-2 will leave its mark on the moon in 2019 will be known as Tiranga Point, according to Prime Minister Modi.

Prime Minister Modi emphasised that the success of the Chandrayaan mission is a victory for all of humanity.

“Today, I am experiencing a new level of pleasure…Such instances are extremely uncommon…This time I was so agitated…I was in South Africa, but my thoughts were with you,” he continued.
