Chhattisgarh assembly election is due for December 2018 and the political corridors in the state are becoming active now. Pulling up his socks, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has reached Chhattisgarh for election campaigns.

Attacking BJP over its failure in dealing with corruption, Gandhi says former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif was accused in Panama Papers case and he was convicted. In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh’s son was also accused and his name appeared in Panama Papers but the investigation has not even begun. Criticising PM Modi, he added, this is NDA’s chowkidari. Criticising the government, Gandhi says, Prime Minister asks to sell pakodaaz when jobs are demanded on the other hands Union Minister Nitin Gadkari says, Where are the jobs?

Aiming at Prime Minister’s silence on the consecutive unfold of shelter home rape cases in Bihar and Muzaffarpur, Gandhi asks, “PM Narendra Modi doesn’t utter a word when girls are raped in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. It’s a question which arises not only in yours but also in the hearts of all women in India. Why are women being raped in BJP-ruled states?”

Calling Rafale Deal the biggest scam in defence, Rahul blamed PM Modi for the blunder. He also promised to give a leader who will fight for the people, farmers, and Adivasis to Chhattisgarh. Rahul Gandhi was addressing Chhattisgarh people in Raipur during an election campaign.
