NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced that the national-level law entrance exam, Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 will be conducted on May 09, 2021, in offline mode.
The application form of CLAT 2021 would be available from January 1, 2021. The last date for the CLAT registration process is March 31, 2021.
Eligibility for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021
CLAT is held for admissions to both undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by the National Law Universities. The eligibility criteria for CLAT 2021 are provided below-
CLAT UG 2021 eligibility
Candidates who have qualified Class 12th or an equivalent examination with 45% marks are eligible to appear in CLAT 2021.
Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories are given relaxation in qualifying marks. Such aspirants are required to score at least 40% in the qualifying exam.
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2021 are also eligible for appearing in the test.
CLAT PG 2021 eligibility
The candidate applying for CLAT PG should have an LLB degree from a recognized varsity. In addition, the candidates must have cleared the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The SC and ST category candidates must score at least 45% or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
Candidates appearing in the final year of LLB graduation may also apply for CLAT PG.

About CLAT 2021
The national-level admission test is held for admissions to five-year integrated LLB and one-year LLM courses offered by the 22 National Law Universities (NLUs).
There are about 2500 seats offered by NLUs through CLAT UG and around 783 seats through the PG entrance test.
