This time, it’s the 2012 movie Cocktail, a fan-favourite film directed by Homi Adajania. The movie will make its way back to cinemas on May 30, 2025. ‘Cocktail’ Returns With Its Iconic Trio

The news came out on Monday when PVR Cinemas posted the film’s official poster on Instagram. It showed Saif, Deepika, and Diana, along with a caption saying, “The iconic trio is back! Experience the unforgettable journey of Cocktail once again with our Curated Shows. Cocktail re-releasing at PVR INOX on May 30!” The original film first released in 2012 and became a big hit, especially among the youth for its story about modern relationships and friendship.
In the movie Deepika plays Veronica, a party girl whose world changes when she becomes friends with Meera, an introverted traditional woman played by Diana. Things get complicated when both fall in love with Gautam, played by Saif Ali Khan. The story shows how three very different people end up getting close and how love, emotions, and friendship come into conflict.

In 2021, when the film turned nine years old, Deepika Padukone said, “Veronica will always be one of my most special characters I’ve played; one that changed a lot for me professionally and impacted me personally.”
