Students who are given a seat must go to the college that they got before August 1, 2025. It’s very important to finish this step before the deadline. Anyone who is not happy with the seat they got has time till August 4 to cancel their allotment. But whether students accept or reject the seat, they must pay the full fee first.

Once round 1 is over the ones who either didn’t get a seat or want a better one can take part in the next round. The COMEDK counselling is being done in four rounds total, so more chances are there for students who want to wait for a better seat. The official dates for round 2 will be announced only after the first round is complete.
Students have to make their final choice on the seat they got by 4 PM on August 1. If they don’t do anything by then, they could miss the chance to hold their seat. Both students from General Merit and Kalyana Karnataka Region are included in round 1 counselling.
