Senior Congress leader RPN Singh has resigned from Congress party on Tuesday amid reports that he will switch to the BJP ahead of the Uttar Pradesh election next month.
RPN Singh, a former Union Minister, was the Congress’s Jharkhand in-charge.

RPN Singh was an MP from the Padrauna constituency of Uttar Pradesh between 1996 and 2009. He later won the Lok Sabha election.
