On December 11 when India’s five states are undergoing vote counting, National General Secretary of the Bhartiya Janata Party, Kailash Vijayvargiya praised Congress for its preparations for the Assembly elections. The veteran leader shared his words of praise while giving an interview to a local news channel.
Vijayvargiya indicated that the party might not come in power in the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. He complimented Kamal Nath and said that the Congress party fought the election in unity, as one.
The election in Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram took place on 28 November, whereas Chhattisgarh Elections took place across two phases on November 12 and November 20. In the states of Rajasthan and Telangana, the elections happened on 7 December, while the vote counting of all the five elections will happen on 11 December.
