National Women Commission member visits the Muzaffarpur shelter home but she was not allowed to go inside and talk to people. Ranjit Ranjan has raised this issue in Parliament also. There are total 15 institutions that are run by the government but the FIR of only one institution was registered. The Congress has demanded an enquiry of all the 15 institutions.

Congress has demanded to send the victims out of Bihar so that the protection of the girls can be ensured. In a video during the conference a video was played where BJP’s Yuva Morcha member of that area Sudhanshu Pathak is seen demanding release of the main culprit, Brijesh and asks for the supports.

The girls were sent every Tuesday to the people. The other shelter homes where boys live are also feared to be facing sexual harassment issues and there is a need of proper investigation thoroughly.

Social Welfare Minister’s husband is accused to be going visiting the Muzaffarpur shelter home very often, and it is said that even if the picture of the culprit is shown the girls would identify him. But there is no guarantee that the girls are in safe there. Since people from Bihar government is involved in the matter and it took Bihar Chief Minister really long to hand over the case in CBI’s hand. This raises the concern over girls’ safety if they are kept there.
