The country is currently facing the wrath of pandemic coronavirus and while in some parts the cases continue to surge, there are states which have been declared corona-free because of zero cases reported.
The most recent to be added to the list if Tripura. After Goa and Manipur became India’s first two stated to have zero positive cases of coronavirus, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb announced that the state has also became coronavirus-free after its second COVID-19 patient tested negative.
Tripura’s first COVID-19 patient, a woman from Udaipur town in Gomati district, who returned from Guwahati right before lockdown, had tested positive for the coronavirus infection on April 6. She recovered and was released from isolation on April 16. She was later shifted to a quarantine centre at Gomati district.

The Second corona patient of Tripura has been found NEGATIVE after
consecutive tests.Hence our State has become Corona free.

If the current rate is seen, the North-East states have been doing really well in recovery rate. 5 states have been declared coronavirus free yet and 4 of them belongs to North-East.
1. Tripura becomes 5th State after Goa , Sikkim , Manipur & Arunachal Pradesh to become COVID-19 free as of now along with 2 UTs.
2.Recovery rate increases to 20.5% most confident building.

Here are the list of Coronavirus free states in India
Sikkim: No case has been reported so far. Sikkim has however said that it would bring back the thousands of stranded people, including students and patients once the lockdown is lifted. Sikkim has banned entry or domestic and international flights since the first week of March.
Tripura: Chief Minister, Biplab Kumar Deb announced that the state has become coronavirus free after its second patient tested negative.
Nagaland: In Nagaland, 543 of the 607 samples have tested negative. Reports of the remaining are yet to come. The lone COVID-19 patient which surfaced is being treated in Assam.
Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram: The number of cases has been limited to one.
Goa: Goa is the first green state to be coronavirus free as no new positive case has been reported.
