Coronavirus in Karnataka: Udupi district to be Covid-19 free soon?

There is speculation that after the recovery of both these patients, the Udupi district will be COVID-19 free.

The cases in the Udupi district are recovering and there are only two cases left and as reported the two of the cases are also recovering. The samples of the two coronavirus positive cases were sent for testing and the results of one of them have come negative while the other’s is pending.

There is speculation that after the recovery of both these patients, the Udupi district will be COVID-19 free.

A patient is discharged after two tests of their samples result negative. First samples of both the patients have already been sent for testing and the second one will be sent in a few days.

Presently, there are 31 COVID-19 suspects admitted in isolation wards in the districts. 33 test reports were received on April 12, all negative and 44 samples test reports are pending.

In a tweet on Monday afternoon, the PMO Twitter handle announced that PM Modi will address the nation at 10 am on Tuesday.

India was put on a 21-day lockdown to stop the spread of coronavirus. The announcement of the complete lockdown was made by PM Modi on March 24.
