Geographical Spread of Infection In India | There has been a fresh review of identification of new ‘Hot Spots’.

1) 60 district report more than 15 cases.

2) 80 districts in India — cases less 15 but still classified.
3) In total, 140 districts fall in the category of hot spots.

4) In totality, 300 districts affected in the country.

5) Maharasthra has maximum clusters- 8 districts affected.

Coronavirus Symptoms | COVID-19 is a respiratory disease and most infected people will develop mild to moderate symptoms and recover without requiring special treatment.

Common symptoms include:

1) fever
2) tiredness
3) dry cough

Other symptoms include:

4) shortness of breath
5) aches and pains
6) sore throat
7) and very few people will report diarrhoea, nausea or a runny nose.

The total number of coronavirus cases in India crossed 9,000 while the death toll has now gone past 300. The govt is now considering expanding tests for corona even to areas that have not reported any case.

There are speculations whether the lockdown will be extended across India, the number of cases in the country rose by more than 900, taking the total cases to over 8,000. Some states including Maharashtra, Punjab, and Telangana have already announced an extension of the lockdown. In a video-conference with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, the chief ministers of several states had suggested him to extend the period of lockdown to contain the spread of novel coronavirus.
