Amid nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19 outbreak, a couple in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam got married with no guests to avoid gathering. The marriage took place at the groom’s house in NTR colony, Gavarapalem area in Anakapalli town, at 11.20PM on April 9.

Marriage of Mahesh and Sowjanya was scheduled for ‘auspicious day’ four months ago. But coronavirus and subsequent lockdown dented their plans of organising a grand wedding.

Though without guests; the marriage was performed smoothly. Bride and groom simply got married in the presence of their parents and a priest
