COVID-19 scare: UPMSP officials postpone evaluation of UP Board result 2020 answer sheets

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the Secondary Education Council has stopped the evaluation of answer sheets of High School and Intermediate Board Examination 2020 till April 2.

UP Board Result 2020: Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the Secondary Education Council has stopped the evaluation of answer sheets of High School and Intermediate Board Examination 2020 till April 2. The evaluation of answer sheets will now start from April 3.

Due to the ban on evaluation of answer sheets, the test results will not be released at the pre-determined time. The board had proposed to declare the results by the last week of April.

This decision was taken by Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of the state. The UP board was set to declare the results by the end of April by completing the assessment soon.

As per the reports, around 600 examiners were absent on the 2nd day of evaluation of the UP Board 2020 answer copies in Meerut and 53000 copies were screened at the five designated evaluation centres – SD Sadar, St. Joseph, GIC, Ram Sahai Inter College and KK Inter College. Arrangements were made in the evaluation centres and preventive measures were being taken tp prevent coronavirus.

Each of the examiner was made to sit at a distance of a metre away from another as per the mandate by WHO to prevent the novel Coronavirus from spreading.

The monitoring centers are being monitored live from the control room in the GIC. District School Inspector inspected Government Inter College, SD Sadar and St. Joseph Inter College on Tuesday.

He directed that as far as possible guidelines related to Corona should be followed. Wherever testers were not seated at a distance of one meter, they were placed at a distance. It was instructed to take precaution in keeping hands clean and coughing and sneezing. There are 5 evaluation centers in the district, including GIC, SD Sadar, St. Joseph, Ram Sahai Inter College and KK Inter College.

A total of 6 lakh 10 thousand 534 copies will be evaluated here, the duty of about 2500 examiners has been imposed here.

The duty imposed on the wrong subject of examiners was corrected at the assessment centers on Tuesday. The duty of social science teacher was placed to check copies of agricultural science. Similarly, duties of English teacher in Hindi and English teacher in English were imposed, which have been fixed.
