The Bihar Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has canceled Constable and Fireman recruitment test 2018. The Board had announced to conduct the examinations to fill the vacancy of 9,900 Police Constables and 1965 Firemen on November 25 and on December 02. Ever since, the government released the application forms for the test, 10,80,000 (10 lakh 80 thousand) candidates had applied for the same.
CSBC announced that the Director General of Bihar has decided to scrap the advertisement of recruitment number 02/2018 on November 09, 2018. This automatically cancels all the other notifications related to examination dates and admits card release dates.

According to sources, the selection board has taken this decision because of some changes in the recruitment rules.
CSBC had circulated the notification for the vacancy of 9900 constables and 1935 fireman on May 26, 2018, and the recruitment had to be done for various departments in Bihar. Moreover, the CSBC had announced to recruit 1965 firemen for Bihar Fire Services.
