CTET Exam Date 2019 announced; check FAQs and other details here

While CTET will be conducted in 20 languages in 110 cities across the country, the candidates appearing for the national level exam should note that the detailed notification will release on August 19.

CTET Exam Date 2019 update: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the thirteenth edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on December 8, 2019.

While CTET will be conducted in 20 languages in 110 cities across the country, the candidates appearing for the national level exam should note that the detailed notification will release on August 19.

The notification will contain details of exam, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates.

CTET Exam 2019: How to register online

  • Step 1: Visit www.ctet.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Go to the CTET 2019 registration notification.
  • Step 3: Read the instructions.
  • Step 4: Fill up the form.
  • Step 5: Pay application fee.

The CTET will be based on the Syllabus available on the website. The examination would be conducted in different languages.

CTET 2019: FAQs

Central Teaching Eligibility Test, abbreviated as CTET, is a national level examination, conducted to certify eligibility of candidates to be appointed as teachers at Primary and Upper Primary level. It is conducted twice a year in July and December

CTET 2019: Exam Pattern

The questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

The questions will have with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate.

Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers of CTET.

Paper I -For candidate who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V

Paper II -For candidate who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII

Candidates should note that he exam will be conducted in two parts, part I exam is for teachers who wish to teach from class 1 to 5 and those who qualify paper 2 will be eligible to teach class 6 to 7.
