Trailer of the much-awaited film, Indu Sarkar is now out and is gripping the viewers with what seems to be an interesting plot.

The trailer begins with a radio announcement, where President has declared a state of emergency in the country. Things seem to be fine till the next series of events unfold and people’s lives become miserable.

Kirti Kulhari is seen as a simple and innocent young woman who wishes to lead a happy life. However, her life takes a drastic turn when her husband supports the emergency. She challenges to go against the system and opposes her husband’s decision.

The docile protagonist turns into a fierce activist and her evolving role is certainly something to look out for. She meets Anupam Kher, who has also challenged the system.

Neil Nitin Mukesh as Sanjay Gandhi and Supriya Vinod as former Prime Minister, Smt Indira Gandhi, fit in perfectly in the role they are chosen to play. They adopt stern measures to suppress the voice of the commoners.

It is certainly to look out for whether the common people will be able to fight against the system or not.

Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, Indu Sarkar is slated for a release on July 28.
