The tragic death of over 60 children in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur has been termed as a ‘massacre’ by Nobel laureate and child’s rights activist, Kailash Satyarthi.
The social worker also appealed to the Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Yogi Adityanath to fix the corrupt medical system of the state.
30 kids died in hospital without oxygen. This is not a tragedy. It's a massacre. Is this what 70 years of freedom means for our children?
